About Me

My family goes back generations in Halton, with the family farms being sold off in the early 1900s. I grew up in Georgetown South as the son of a factory worker, a hard-working mom, and a grandmother who fought hard to protect residents on Mountainview Road from expansion. I attended Silver Creek Public School, worked at local businesses to support my family, and prepared to become an educator. Being a lifelong resident of this town, I have watched our community change.

I grew up on streets that once bustled with kids playing. Now, they are quiet, and neighbours are no longer speaking. I have watched farmland disappear to make way for rapid growth and bad planning that did not make neighbourhoods for people. I have met lifelong residents who struggle to afford to stay in the only town they know and love. I hear kids talk about moving away because opportunity lies elsewhere.

I want to bring back the Georgetown that I grew up in. A Georgetown where neighbours knew each other, kids played, farmland thrived, and people did too. That is why I am running to be your Town Councillor here in Ward 4.

I will bring new perspectives to our Town Council, shaped by the community I have spent my entire life in, and a readiness to take the torch on behalf of a new generation of leadership. I will propose bold solutions to the problems that our community must face in the coming years. I will do so with my years of experience in provincial and federal political circles, coupled with my education in political science, history, and society.

I believe councillors should live in the ward they represent. In fact, if elected, I will be the first councillor to come from Georgetown South. As your councillor, I will be accessible because you can find me at your grocery store, restaurants, and parks.

Whether it be from my time flipping blizzards, reviewing legislation, or teaching kids, I am ready to fight on behalf of my neighbours. I hope I can count on your support.
