Tyler McFadden

For Ward 4,
Halton Hills Town Council

Vote on October 26, 2026

About

My name is Tyler McFadden.

I am a lifelong resident of Georgetown running for Halton Hills Council in Ward 4.

I grew up in Georgetown South, the son of a factory worker, a hard-working mom, and the grandson of a woman who fought like hell to protect residents on Mountainview Road from expansion.

I understand what folks are facing today. Neighbours are not talking to neighbours anymore. Farmland is disappearing. Lifelong residents are leaving because they cannot afford to stay. The kids who grow up here only ever talk about leaving and cannot find job opportunities. I believe it does not have to be this way, and I want to change it.

I bring years of political engagement to the table, having worked with MPs and MPPs at the provincial and federal levels. I bring the freshest perspective of our community to council, with a unique understanding of what lies ahead for Georgetown. I bring my education in government, history, and society to the forefront when making collaborative, solutions-based decisions on Town Council. Whether it be from my time flipping blizzards, teaching kids, or reviewing legislation, I am ready to fight for my neighbours as their voice on our Town Council.
